Gamayun Acting Studio is bringing back Artem Atamaniuk for another workshop in the basics of Eastern European acting methods!

What does an actor need to distinguish him or herself in the modern world? When competition is so high, and the supply is much greater than the demand, just talent and education are no longer enough.

Artem Atamaniuk and Asya Sosis present to you a 2-day workshop, developed using the techniques of the greatest masters of acting in the 20th century.

Artem Atamaniuk studied in Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University on the course of B. Benyuk. He works in Kyiv National Academic Young Theatre (Molodii Theatre) as an actor. He acts in 16 current shows of the repertory of Molodii Theatre. He taught the art of acting at Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University on B.Benyuk course. Taught acting training in "Grets" studio. Now teaches acting in studio "F63.9". Also teaches workshops for business "Word play".

ANASTASIYA (ASYA) SOSIS

Asya is a theatre director and the director of Gamayun Theatre Company. Born in Ukraine, she came to the UK to study Practical Filmmaking at Met Film School, but eventually realised her passion lies with theatre. She directed Cockroaches , an adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s play “Flight”, about the hardships of finding your true home in a war-torn country; the show participated in Camden Fringe 2016, Edinburgh Fringe 2017, and further had a run in Etcetera Theatre, London in 2018. Asya was then invited to direct The Crucible in English for Kyiv National Academic Young Theatre (Molodyy Theatre) in Ukraine in 2018, which went on to participate in Pro.Act Fest 2019, an English-language theatre festival in Kyiv, Ukraine, where it had great success. Now Asya is working on a new project, a play by a Soviet playwright Eugene Shwartz, called “Dragon”, about the dragons inside human souls, that is planned to premiere at the beginning of 2020.
